Why Holiday in Dubrovnik?

Dubrovnik is fast becoming one of the most popular destinations in Europe, and especially in Croatia, with luxury villas in Dubrovnik becoming the most sought after way to enjoy your holiday and enjoy what the city has to offer.

The city has a mix of the ancient and modern which have been beautifully crafted together to form a must-visit location on any tourist’s bucket list. The old City of Dubrovnik is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has become protected to preserve the architectural features from different points in the cities history. Holidaymakers are sure to find something in Dubrovnik to suit every interest with its wealth of attractions, monuments and stunning views.

Dubrovnik City Walls are often an attraction atop of a visitors todo list. The pedestrian-only walls have surrounded the Old City since their completion in the 16th Century. The walls in full length make up a 2km long walk, however, if you don’t wish to walk that far you can descend from the walls around halfway.

There are a wealth of areas to explore both inside and beyond the city walls. Take a look at our things to do in Dubrovnik checklist to plan your trip.

Selection of Luxury Villas in Dubrovnik

Orvas Villas have a range of luxury villas in Dubrovnik and the surrounding areas of the city, ideal for tourists to explore to their heart’s content, while still having the comfort and flexibility of a homely villa to enjoy their holiday. There are many benefits to having a luxury villa holiday over a hotel stay. Find out more.

Villa Trsteno – 4 Star Villa in Dubrovnik

Villa Trsteno is located 17km (10 miles) to the west of the Old City closer to the Trsteno Arboretum, the oldest in this part of the world. The site is well worth a visit for all Game of Thrones fans after this was heavily used in the filming of the show much like other areas in Dubrovnik.

The 4 bedroom villa comfortably sleeps 8 people, with room for up to 12 guests if required. Villa Trsteno comes with large family areas both inside the villa and in the Mediterranean grounds by the large private pool. Each bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom and private balcony with views out on to the Adriatic.

Villa Trsteno is an excellent choice to offer a luxury villa in Dubrovnik while being far enough from the often hectic nature of the city in the highest points of the season.

Villa Southern Sun – 4 Star Luxury Villa in Dubrovnik

Southern Sun is located 45km (27 miles) south of Dubrovnik along the Adriatic coastline close to the border with Montenegro.

The large family villa is located a short walk from the sea should you choose to experience the beautiful Croatian sea and pebble beaches ahead of your private pool in the villa’s grounds which also features a jacuzzi. Indoors you will find a pool table, darts board and PlayStation3 console. The chef in the family will find an indoor and outdoor stone fire and a traditional bread oven to express their culinary talents with.

The villa sleeps 8 guests and is ideal for large families with 4 double bedrooms spread across the property.

Villa Noa – 4 Star Luxury Villa in Dubrovnik

Villa Noa is one of our closest luxury villas to Dubrovnik, located in Lozica just north of the city walls. The villa is spacious both inside and out with a wealth of space surrounding your private pool to relax and soak up the Croatian climate. The pool area is isolated from the world beyond the grounds by palm trees and other greenery giving you complete privacy. Beyond the boundaries, you will find a small beach area with access to the clear waters just meters from your villa.

The villa comfortably sleeps 9 guests, with 4 double bedrooms and a single spread throughout the property. There are also 3 luxurious bathrooms fitted throughout the property with power showers and jacuzzi baths providing a high-quality finish.
