Our Favourite Croatia Music Festivals

Our Favourite Croatia Music Festivals

As well as being a beautiful historic country with many interesting sites and clear blue seas to visit, Croatia is also one of the biggest music hubs in the world with many festivals and music events taking place in the summer.

Hideout

Hideout Festival is a popular one amongst Brits and is still relatively young on the festival scene, only having started in 2011 on the island of Pag. As well as huge artists performing in Zrce’s open air venues, you can participate in boat parties and pool parties all whilst soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine. Headliners this year include Major Lazer, Stormzy and Diplo.

26th-30th June 2017.

Outlook Festival

Outlook Festival is a bass music festival that takes place later in the year, where the weather starts to cool and you can swap your factor 50 for factor 30 sun cream. The main festival is close to the beautiful city Pula where you can also enjoy boat parties that sail out onto the breathtaking Adriatic sea. Acts this year include Dizzee Rascal, Giggs and Wiley.

7th-10th September 2017.

Ultra Europe

Ultra is a worldwide festival brand, with huge music events taking place all over the world. Ultra Europe is an electronic, house musical festival that takes place across different Croatian locations including the main event in Split and an additional beach party in Hvar. Headliners this year include Afrojack, David Guetta, Tiesto and Steve Aoki. Calling it one of the biggest electronic festivals in the world would not be an exaggeration.

14-18th July 2017

Salsa Beach Splash

For something a bit different, the Salsa Beach Splash is a fun festival event which people visit year on year for its amazing atmosphere, friendly festival goers, fun dance classes and demonstrations. Taking place in the beautiful Sibenik, this festival combines music and a love of dance to create a truly unique experience.

4th-9th July 2017

InMusic Festival

Not all festivals in Croatia focus on dance or electro music and InMusic Festival is the perfect example of that. Not only is it Croatia’s biggest international open air festival, taking place in the capital Zagreb, but it features huge names this year such as Kings of Leon, Kasabian and Arcade Fire.

Whether you’re looking for the fully intense festival experience or a more laid back atmosphere there is plenty to choose from throughout Croatia and plenty of accommodation alongside that. Whether you’re visiting with a group of friends or with loved ones, our holiday villas in Croatia are the perfect resting place in between each festival event and are all ideally located close to the action.
