Exciting Flight Expansions set in Croatia in 2024!

Croatia is getting more flights in 2024! After a super busy year for tourists in 2023, some airlines are bringing in new routes next year.

Volotea, a low-cost airline from Barcelona, is adding 77 flights each week to Croatia during the busy season. They're introducing new routes from Lille to Dubrovnik and from Naples, Athens, and Strasbourg to Split.

Ryanair is also jumping in with new flights. They've already said Dubrovnik will be their new home base in 2024 and the opening is expected in early. From there, they'll be flying from Vienna to Rijeka and Split. They're also heading to Pula from Memmingen near Munich. With this new base, Dubrovnik will be connected to Dublin, London, Rome, Vienna, Stockholm, Helsinki, Berlin, Milan, Paris, Brussels, Baden-Baden, Memmingen, Krakow, Manchester, Dusseldorf, Poznan, Oslo, and Wroclaw.

United Airlines will bring bigger Boeing planes from Newark to Dubrovnik, making it 10% roomier.

SAS is fully on board as well, offering 14 weekly flights from Oslo to Split during the summer.

Croatia Airlines is also expanding its international flights and plans to increase the total number of flights by 6% during the peak season. They're starting some routes in March, earlier than this year, and running them until the end of October 2024, making the tourist season in Croatia even longer.
